Sharen's Story

Life It was a bumpy road, but I survived it. I am now married, with in-laws that I love. I have an awesome job at the space center sewing parts that go on the orbiter to protect it in space. Most are hand-sewn and quite intricate. One of the best perks is being so close to a launch (standing by the VAB) what a rush!! Life has been good in my latter years. I now work in the SipBond area, applying SIP (strain insulator pads) to the tiles. Another update: being laid off is not fun, but I am so thankful for the memories. We knew the program was going to be cancelled, so getting laid off was not a shock. Some people just go into work and find the doors locked. No matter what lies ahead, I have my faith and that keeps me strong,
